This Christmas was our first spent at home since we've been married. Although I really missed seeing my fam and being with them for the holiday's, it was really exciting to start our own little family traditions. It was so fun to watch Kinsey absorb all of the excitement and watch her reactions to everything. After opening presents at our house we went to Trav's parents for Christmas breakfast (yummy, my favorite meal... well actually every meal is my favorite) and exchanging gifts with the grandparents. It was really fun, there's always so many people and so much excitement; just how Christmas should be!

Kinsey got some power wheels for Christmas. I think the expression on her face says it all... Watch out world.

This Christmas Eve was our first together with just our little family at home. It started kind of late bc Kinsey took a late nap but we had a blast. Here is the fam hard at work making a ginger bread house, which ended up in a candy throwing fight. My floors will never be the same... :)

After we made ginger bread houses we had a family dance party :) ... This is Kinsey's signature move. It's pretty hilarious to watch. After our dance contest we watched "A King is Born" and read "The Night Before Christmas". We're trying to decide what traditions to keep, any suggestions???

Last night Travis, Kinsey, and I were all going to get in the hot tub (don't worry we kept it at 98 so it won't hurt baby...). So we are all getting ready and getting our suits on. Somehow I manage to get my pregnant body and Kinsey into swim suits before Trav can pull up a pair of shorts. (What takes men so long???) So we go down stairs to wait for Trav to finish. Anyway, he finally comes down and Kinsey takes one look at him and says, "Daddy you look like a snowman!" It was perfect and so spontaneous. I laughed so hard I almost went into to labor. Okay I know I'm not a great storyteller but trust me it was funny!! I need Tiffany to write all of my life stories, she can make anything sound funny. :)

Yesterday Kinsey told me she was hungry and asked if she could drink the milk from my "booboo's" as she calls them. Yikes, did my two year old really ask me that? She saw Bre feeding Paige and thought she was missing out. She's really going to feel left out when I have the baby and he is nursing. She also keeps telling me she's going to lose her patience. Wait, who is the mom here? I thought it was me but I guess I was wrong :) She's so funny. We are still name searching so if you have any name suggestions please pass them on. Anyway, this blogging thing is kind of fun- I'll put some more pictures on soon...

Here is Kinsey by the "Christmas" as she calls it. She is loving all of the Christmas excitement and decorations. Travis put some presents under the tree and they are already opened. (Imagine that!)
