I realize this is about a month and a half late, but someone just sent me these pictures. Kinsey had an end of the year safari party at preschool, it was so cute. They sang their songs and we got to make crafts together. I love to watch Kinsey interact with the other kids in her class and see how her manners/disposition change when we're in public. She's always a little shy at first and then opens up and does great.
I don't know why my eyes are bulging out of my head right here... but she was so proud of the habitat she made for her raccoon.

Outside Relief
We always go outside and play first thing in the morning, and by that I mean 6 am as Connor wakes up at 5 am bright and early, when it's not very hot out yet. Connor LOVES outside, it's the first thing he wants, besides daddy and a bottle. Anyway, this morning we're all outside, I'm eating a bowl of cereal so I don't get really sick, Connor's playing on the tramp, and Kinsey says, "Mom, I have to go potty!" I told her to go in and use the potty. Before I know it she's stripped off her jammie bottoms and panties and is standing up doing her deed, and has pee all over her! Maybe, now that she realizes she'll be covered in pee if she goes standing up, we won't have this problem anymore. But, in all honesty, I don't think she really minded. She just hosed off and was on her merry way. What is it with boys, and now Kinsey, peeing outside?

Summer Visit to Texas
We had a great trip to Texas for the past 10 days. It was really nice to go home again and relax. The kids love going and getting to see grandma, grandpa, the boys, and all the cool toys.
We took a day trip to visit Fossil Rim, you take a drive and all different kinds of animals come up to the car so you can feed them. It's pretty awesome.
Dustin looks real happy here.

Mowing the fields with grandma : ).
Connor's first horse ride, and he really enjoyed it. A man after my own heart.Saturday, May 16, 2009
Buyers Remorse
For my birthday, Travis told me to go pick out the furniture for my living room. YEA!! I've been looking for months. Holy cow, it was so stressful. If you know me very well, you know I analyze every single detail of every single thing and it makes things like this a process- to say the least. It is SO annoying. I ended up being at this fabric store for two hours and spent way over my budget. Now I'm worried that it's not going to turn out well, I can't sleep and my stomach hurts. I'm worried the chairs are going to be too small, Travis is going to look like a giant in them. I got really cute fabric, but one of the chairs is white with a really cute print on it. My kids are going to destroy it. I keep telling myself they are not allowed in there. Who am I kidding? I'm having baby number three and I don't want to be worried about them going into my living room. What a waste of space. Then the sales lady was kind of rude to me b/c I called back later and switched to a bigger couch. Does she really expect to me walk in there know exactly what I want, exactly what fabric, exactly what wood stain, exactly what pillow to do what with, and it not take long? Seriously lady earn your commission. I bought three pieces and there are a lot of decisions. I mean she was nice most of the time but whatever. Crap. It's non-refundable. Maybe if I have Travis throw a fit they will cancel my order. I mean, I think it'll be really cute, but ahh.... I'm freaking out. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I won't get my money back so cross your fingers that it turns out!! It was really sweet of Travis to let me do this though, he didn't even get mad about the money and he didn't complain about what I bought. He told me it was my thing and to get what I wanted. Usually he wants to make the decisions, I think he's finally trusting my decorating skills...ha ha. Anyway, it was sweet of him to just try to keep me happy all day. Seriously, these hormones are awful this time around. I could just start to cry at the drop of a hat. I think the lady at the store thought I would start crying at any second. I don't feel good, I'm really tired, really grouchy, and how do I take care of my kids? I was wondering how my mom took care of seven kids when she was pregnant with number 8. What a stinking nightmare for her!! Kinsey keeps saying, "are you mad at me?" It's really sad. I try really hard, but my patience is so thin right now and then the nausea hits and I just want to lose it. I hate to say it but seriously my kids might get really friendly with the TV for the next three months, until I'm feeling better. It may just be better for all of us. I hate to do that, but for some reason even just thinking about putting on a swim suit makes me really nauseous. Weird. I know, but it does. If we're not swimming this summer then we are definitely stuck inside and there are only so many things to do inside. Okay, I'll stop whining I just needed to vent. I've been up since four and needed to get this out so I could sleep. Too bad now my kids are about to wake up.

We had such a great weekend so far. I just wanted to remember it so here goes a quick little draft (I know my writing has been sketchy at best lately, but whatever : ) ). I took the kiddies to the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center with one of my best friends Bre and her little ones. It was so much fun, that place is awesome. I can't believe I didn't take my camera. Shame on me. They went down the water slides about a hundred times and swam around like little fish, then we came home and swam some more. To me, that's one of the best days ever. Hanging by the pool...ahhh... Today I forced myself to go to the gym for only the third time this week, where I got my trash kicked by this pro-volleyball playing goddess and wanted to come home, sit on the couch, and get really really fat. I digress. So, Trav and I went on a day date to a movie and linner (yes it's a word). Then we took the kids to chuckie cheese. We had so much fun, and it was the first time Connor kept his shoes on without throwing them at me!! Hooray!! Progress!! Anyway, I just wanted to remember this day. Kinsey was so excited b/c she won some strawberry lip gloss and a pink comb with her tickets, she is such a girl. Connor just kept saying "ball" and trying to throw the really hard skeet balls everywhere and play peek-a-boo- his favorite game. The kids were so cute at Chuckie Cheese and I was once again wishing I had my camera. I've been feeling bad b/c Connor is in the cutest stage right now and I really need to have him on video and have more pictures. This is me committing to taking more pictures AND posting them on my blog!!

CAN IT BE...
Baby number three??!?!?!
Can I really be having my third baby? I know everyone likes to wait for a while to tell people when they are pregnant just in case, and from my past experience, I know I should too. I just get too excited, and I can't hold it in. I've been feeling cranky, fat, emotional, tired blah blah blah, the list goes on. So, I took a test today and tah-dah... pregnant. We are so thrilled! Of course it happens right when I'm getting into decent shape and all that crap but oh well. Hopefully I won't lose all motivation in that area after kid numero tres, but I am scared. I've heard that number three is the kicker!! So, wish me luck, I'm going to need it!! We are so excited!! January 11 is my due date!! Three birthdays in the month of January is going to give me a run for my money (literally). I can't wait to meet my new little baby, there really is nothing better in the world than holding your very own new born. To hold something, well someone, so pure and close to heaven is just the most peaceful feeling there is and I can't wait to experience it again.
