Terrible Two's...and probably three's... and fours

I've been feeling really bad because I'm having such a hard time with Kinsey lately. She has entered this phase where she whines ALL the time and NEVER listens. Everything is a fight. I have really been struggling with my patience and it makes it hard for me to enjoy her so I feel guilty. Anyone else ever feel like this or am I the worst parent ever? I'm sure she is struggling with having a new baby around and not getting my undivided attention but it's driving me crazy!! We used to have so much fun together and play and laugh, but now even when we are playing she wants to fight and/or whine. She is so incredibly independant and has to do everything on her own including buckling herself into the carseat. So everytime we want to go anywhere or are leaving it'll take 20 min just to get into the car not to mention the half hour it took just to get her to put on her dang pants. Everytime we go somewhere I have to tell her I'm going to leave without her if she doesn't come on. Sorry for the complaining but today I'm feeling the need to vent so I don't take it out on my precious children. Don't get me wrong I love her with all my heart but there are just those days...

These are supposed to be swimsuits!

Okay I'm sorry but I'm looking online for a swimsuit and found this. I don't think I even need to write anything it's too funny. Can you imagine wearing this or seeing someone wear it?? Give me a break!!

P90X

I have to admit I bought this... and I LOVE IT!! It is so nice to be able to work out from home instead of lugging my kids to the gym and watching Kinsey cry bc she hates it so much. I love it because it's different everyday. It's so fun. I've been doing it for 4 weeks, one of which I only got 1 day in, and I've lost 5 lbs!! WAHOO!! If you're looking for a program you should try it. It was a little pricey but totally worth it. I get bored easily while I'm running or whatever but I actually really enjoy this- and I'm not thinking about the next oreo I'm going to eat and how bored/tired I am. Thank you Tony Horton : )

Connor's blessing

We had Connor's baby blessing on April 13, 2008. It was really nice and we had family over after for a little brunch. Poor Travis gets really nervous when he has to do things in front of people but the blessing was really beautiful. I'm so grateful for the power of the priesthood and what it brings into our home. Well we are working on potty training over here and she knows that evertime she goes potty she gets an M&M. So the other day she informs me she needs to go; so we go into the bathroom and I tell her I'm listening to hear if she's going and she does. "Yay," I tell her and off we go to get an M&M. A few minutes go by and she decides she needs to go again. This time I'm out in the family room changing Connor's diaper so she goes in by herself not knowing I can still see her. As I'm changing the diaper I start hearing a tinkle sound and think to myself holy cow I can't believe she still had pee in there. I look up to see her dipping the toilet scrubber in the water and then holding it over the water so it would drip and make a peeing sound. What a sneaky little devil!! Trying to trick me so she could get another M&M. Oh and one more.. the other day she told me I looked rediculous. HA! My dad and his mom

Let's Celebrate!!

Okay... Marianne had her baby!! YEA!! She is BEAUTIFUL! She has Marianne's big eyes and isgorgeous. I forgot my camera but will take it tomorrow and post a picture. No name yet but she is a dainty 5lb 15 oz and 19in long. Labor/delivery went great and mom and dad are happy as can be!! They are so cute!!

Angel Fire

Okay, this trip was over spring break but I didn't have my camera (or so I thought... I found in the car when we got home- surprise surprise) so these pics are from my dad or I would have posted earlier. Anyway, we all met up at Angel Fire in New Mexico and rented a little house close to the ski resort. It was really fun hanging out with the fam for a few days and getting to know everyone again, but I missed the husband who couldn't get off of work. Kinsey had a blast sledding with Chance and playing in the snow.
